Event Description:  Each player receives two stacks of 11 cards — your “hand” and “foot”.  The object of the game is to get rid of cards from your “hand”, and then from your “foot”, by melding them.   Five regular decks with jokers will be needed for four players or seven decks will be needed for six players.  The dealer is to be determined by highest card drawn.

NOTE:  Any changes will be announced the day of the event.    An additional page of rules will be available at the event prior to the starting time.  Any circumstances not covered by the following rules will be ruled upon by the event coordinator.

Event Rules:  Play begins the player to the left of the dealer by drawing two cards from the center stack.  Discard one card and do not arrange your meld after that.   A meld consists of three cards;  i.e. a joker and a pair.

As play continues around the table, you may draw from the discard pile if you or your partner already has a meld on the table — and if you have a pair in your hand which matches the upturned card on the discard pile.  You then take that upturned card plus four more cards and must meld the three cards immediately.  At least 5 cards must be in pile.

If you play out your “hand” and have nothing to discard, you can go immediately to your “foot” and continue playing.

You get 100 points for completely playing your “foot” to the end of the game — and you do not need to discard a card.  Count the “naturals” and “mixed” (500 and 300) and then count the value of the cards within those stacks.  Next count the points on the table that aren’t in the “naturals” and “mixed”.  Losing players count their “naturals” and “mixed”, etc.  But they must deduct the value of the cards left unplayed in their “hand” or “foot”.

Anyone who has a red 3 in their hand or foot at the end of a hand or game, must deduct 500 points from their score for EACH RED THREE.
